Spain is located in the Northern Hemisphere in the European continent. Spain is the fourth largest country in Europe after Russia, Ukraine and France.

Spain occupies most of the Iberian Peninsula, the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean and Ceuta and Melilla in the north of Africa.

It has an area of 505 370 km2.

It is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and the Cantrabrian Sea.

Spain has borders with Andorra, France, Portugal and Morocco.
